The Guild of Mercers’ Scholars Charitable Trust (RCN 281806) exists to support Indentured and Unindentured Apprentices and Guildmen of the Guild of Mercers’ Scholars in

1. educational projects and work experience in the UK or abroad; and

2. charitable activities, where the Apprentice/Member is actively engaged in fund-raising (e.g. sponsored walks, bike rides or other types of physical activity)

In order to apply, it is necessary to give a short description of the project; this should include dates, cost, other sources of funding and the benefit you (or a named charity) expect to derive. For Apprentices, your Master or the Deputy Apprentice Warden will be contacted for his or her approval. The Court recently approved a revised process for applying for awards; Applications will now be received and considered throughout the year.
